John’s career has been built on a foundation of public service and legal expertise:
🔹 Attorney & Partner, Omnus Law – Advising on civil law, government relations, and employment law.
🔹 Director of Voting Rights, Civic Nebraska – Led statewide election protection programs and policy initiatives. Lobbied at the Unicameral on behalf of all Nebraska Voters.
🔹 General Counsel, For Our Future Action Fund – Supported pro-teacher union candidates by ensuring compliance with campaign finance, employment law, and non-profit regulations.
🔹 Board Leadership & Community Engagement – Serving on the Board of Advisors for Students Learn Students Vote Coalition and as President of the Nebraska Cannabis Association Board of Directors.
With a J.D. in Constitutional Law from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a deep passion for civic engagement, John is uniquely equipped to navigate the complex issues facing public education today.
